I picked up a Wade and Butcher a couple of weeks ago in a local antique store and for the life of me can't get it sharp. I have 7 straights (all vintage US and German blades), one I sent off to be honed by a member here, the others honed by myself. I'm happy with them, shaves are good. The W&B has quite a bit of hone wear and isn't as hollow ground. Is there a trick to these old razors? Horn handles, W&B for $17, I just couldn't pass it up, lol.
