Can someone clarify the manufacturing of Red Imps?

Red Imps—I've seen boxes and shanks with two origins: USA and Solingen. The German razor's shank and box state: "made for E. Morris Manufacturing Co." so my first guess is Germans forged the steel that was then assembled in the USA. But what throws me off is that the Imps that have a shank claiming to be made in the USA are imprinted with "Case." Can anyone give me a short explanation of what was happening with these blades? Thanks for your help.

Case made them in Bradford. PA and apparently gave up the trademark and they were subsequently made by or for E. Morris (Ludo Razor and Shear Works) in Solingen. Possible that Case made them for Morris to begin with ? I've heard both marques make excellent shavers.
