Need help identifying this antique razor

Sorry no pics, if no one can help me id the razor maybe i can obtain some from my grandpa, he currently owns the razor. This razor is a family heirloom, my great great uncle got during WWI and passed to his son who carried it in WWII. I'm not sure where he got it and cant find much info on the brand. The blade is heavy, and large! its worn pretty thin from years of use and was rusted slightly when we found in in my grandfathers dresser. anyways, after removing rust we found some inscriptions on the tang where most of the brand names are. the brand seems to be somthing called "el cantado"??? has anyone ever heard of this before?

sorry guys it appears the brand is actually "el candado" not cantado. That translates as the lock in english. Not sure if it matters tho.

I thought "el cantado" means The singing or the song.

it does, but the actual spelling on the blade is "candado" i misspelled it as "cantado" haha very similar tho. Also i promise i will post some pics tonight, i just have to get them, so hopefully that will help. as far as i can tell it seems pretty rare.

I don't know if all browsers display SRP the same way but you need to find an option in the advanced settings that reads Attach Files or Manage Attachments, then you should get access to pics on your disk.

As onimaru suggested, you need to either use the big "post reply" button, or else click "go advanced" from the quick reply box.

Once in the advanced reply mode, scroll down, below the box where you type your text is a button that says "manage attachments".

Ok i figured out the pictures. attached is one upclose of the writing, its hard to make out but you can read it, and also one of the entire razor. Hopefully someone can identify it because i have found absolutely nothing online.

What does the line below "El Candado" say?

(I'm not convinced it's "CANDADO" the second "D" looks different than the first one.)

I'm positive it says "candado" its a bad picture, if you could hold it in your hand its clearly another D. as for the other writing under the big letters, i cant make that out, the rust took its toll. i tried to write it all out on the paper in the other picture of the entire razor, but the second line seems to say tivola 56?? i have no clue what that means.
