Default A 19/16 Huge Brittain, Wilkinson & Brownell razor

    Here's a nice one.
Just one day after the Dream Razor (Brad's 9/8+ GB Anchor stamped) got sold on Ebay for well over 500 dollars, I thought I'd never, ever find another razor like that, let alone afford it.
Well, there must have been a small angel on my shoulder that day, because the local Barbershop where I bought my first straight razor equipment simply had it for sale online. I pushed the "purchase now" button in less than a millisecond and here she is. She's mine. :-)
For a mere 85 dollars, I consider this a bargain. This razor is about 200 years old. The zipper had not been invented yet. The bicycle had only just been introduced. People didn't know what a car was... I'm thrilled.

That is a beauty. You're a lucky guy.

Congrats on a GREAT score!! Don't forget to wipe your shoes off. She looks like a honey. Get 'er honed up and back in service. You can restore her later if you wish. I wouldn't wait to shave with that beauty.

Congratulations! Your lucky day. I have a 7/8 GB blade that I plan to rescale some day or send out for a total restore.
