    Plus its not like this is going to be my last razor I can always get a 4/8 later on in life if I want.

    That's a great way to look at it. I have a 4/8 which I love, but I will admit, I have cut myself and a strop more with it then my other razors.

    Thats not good, I just gotr a new strop for Christmas and it was like 50 dollars which is alot for me :P

    As I understand it, the razor is measured in 1/8 of an inch. It follows the difference between a 6/8 and a 4/8 is 2/8. 1 inch = 2.54cm; 1/8 inch = 3.2mm, give or take 3micrometers, then 6.4mm would be the difference.
