You can't tell from pics how deep pitting goes but worth a gamble at the right price.
A lot of pitting and rust at the very edge. It's a real gamble.
i would pass.
in the other hand if price is very low you may gamble.gl
To the OP, in case you're not aware of it .... the concern with the pitting is more than cosmetic when it is near the edge. If it is in the bevel and it is too deep the edge will crumble to swiss cheese where the pits are as you try to hone to good metal. You might get lucky if the pitting is shallow and get through to good steel. That is the gamble. :gl:
