Default Can you help identify this razor? 2

    Hi again,

After the great response to my last identification post, thanks porridgeorange, I was wondering if any one had any clue as to this antique-market find. My iPhone camera is struggling to pick up the very faint stamp on the tang... all I can make out is "...AM R..." Etched on the blade is "DISPATCH RAZOR." Very worn and with around 1.5mm hone ware this razor is rough but still a great shaver and I would love to know a little more about it.

    Thanks.

PS Sorry all my images are the wrong way round... Haven't quite got the hang of this yet

Came across your post while trying to identify my own razor, which is also a dispatch.
I've seen several with "dispatch razor" on the blade but always a different name on the tang.
Did you ever find out anymore?

Martin, why does mine say dispatch razor or the blade but had a different maker on the tang?
