Ask me next week and I'll probably give you a completely different answer, but right now it's a toss-up between my W&B Bow razors, and my DublDuck Satin-edge.

    My Revisor 5/8 "Solingen Extra"
Smooth and comfortable shave. Very close as well.

Second might be my Wade & Butcher "The Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground Razor".

Today my favorite was my Beau Brummel 35. Tomorrow, I'm sure, my favorite will be the Platipus I plan on shaving with.

I think overall I prefer French razors to the others.

I usually shave with some homemade razors I threw together in the shop. Oh, made in the USA

I like my Dovo's. Although, my standard Dovo may have just been overshadowed by my new purchase from a buddy. $40 got me a barely used Dovo Best Quality in shave-ready condition. I think it shaves better than my normal one! I may have screwed up my edge learning to strop though. Man, now I have 3 razors that need to get shipped out for a hone!

Might I suggest either a Franz Swaty or similar barber hone or if you have a Woodcrafter store nearby, getting that Chinese 12K stone from them. They are not that expensive. Use sanpaper, and make sure it is lapped flat, on the already lapped side and then give your razors a few passes on that hone. It should freshen up the edges either way, whether you use a Swaty barber one (or similar) or one the 12K stones.

Come on fellas...I know that "favorite" is very subjective, but I know I'd like to see pictures of some of your bests and I'd like to know why they are the best.

Hmm...I'll have to look into that. It certainly would be better than having to send all of the razors out for honing.

Hmm, my favorite too. Could it, per chance, be the same razormeister??
