Vintage Edlis Barber Co. Copperhead straight razor ( need info please)

I'm new to this site but I have read many forums and have found great information, I have a box of over 40 vintage straight razors and have found information on some of them but recently i fell in love with this razor because of the handle. When I type the name into google Edlis Barber Co. is the producer I think but on the blade and handle it says Copper Head with a picture of a snake, on google I found the razor on ebay and other sites but it has a yellow handle mine is celluloid but has a wood grain pattern so I was wondering if anyone could give me more info about the producer of the razor, if my handle is special and if possible how much it could be worth just for myself I would like to know.

As far as information, I wish I could. What I can tell you is that I can see why you fell in love with that one. It's a really beautiful razor. If it were mine, I'd hone it up and use it.

Are you sure the scales are celluloid? I've never seen celluloid quite like that. I can't help wondering if it's bakelite or a more modern plastic.

GOINS' says that Coperhead is a trademark circa 1911-1925 of A. Witte. Alexis Witte Cutlery co of NYC They made a lot of razors for B.S. supply houses such as Edlis BS of Pittsburgh
