    Default Just Bought This Off of Ebay!!

    VINTAGE PYRAMID BRAND GENEVA CUTLERY STRAIGHT RAZOR !!! | eBay

    just bought this off of ebay... What do you guys think about it?

    I am pretty new to the straight razor scene, so any tips or suggestions with it would be highly appreciated!

    Hey Noodels,

    Looks like a pretty nice blade. Those single shoulder Geneva's are great shavers, I know I have several Geneva's and like them plenty! IMO you did pretty good on the price. There do look to be some small nicks near the toe judging from the edge of the blade and looking at its shadow (2nd to last pic). From what I can tell there is very little honewear.

    Assuming you send it out to a pro for honing (or already have the skills to do so yourself) it should shave great and last for generations. A little bit of metal polish (before honing!) will make it look as good as it shaves!

    Thank You and yes I was intending to send this off to Lynn for honing. I hear he is good at what he does!

    I previously purchased a Timberwolf Rattler razor...all I could say was, what a waste of 15$, I had razor burn all down my neck!
