Rust Spot
Hey fellas, I have a little issue, and I could use some advice: I pulled out a razor today that I hadn't used for a few months, and noticed a tiny, red rust spot, that takes up about half the width of the bevel. When I stropped my usual 25 on linen, then 50 on horsehide, it lightened the spot considerably.
Should I just strop the hell out of it until the spot is totally gone?
If not, I have a DMT 1200, a BBW, and a coticule-- how far back in that progression should I go?
Thanks a lot for reading this, and I look forward to hearing from you guys.

The Coticule should take that right off with just a Touch Up routine...
Mine would be 20 laps light slurry, and 20-30 laps diluting to clear water, strop and shave YMMV

Abrasion removes light rust. So stropping and/or sharpening would probably do the trick. If not, some fine sandpaper rubbed firmly over the rusty bits should strip it right off back to the underlying metal. But this should only really be used for heavier patches of rust.
