Seeking Advice on a New Boker!

I am a five month straight shaver and fairly new to the game.

I have a vintage, beautifully restored (GoodTan) 5/8 Boker "Extra Hollow Ground" razor that is among the smoothest and most loved shavers in my collection. One of the goals in building my modest collection is, as much as possible, to have at least one vintage and one new razor (if available) of a brand. I am more interested in the quality of the shave than paying the extra money for more ornate, unique, or beautiful scales. Basic black or cream suits me fine.

I am looking at three new Bokers on the SRD website.
5/8 Boker King Cutter
5/8 Boker Edelweiss
5/8 Boker Stainless.

All three have good reviews from various SRP members. They are all within the same price range and all meet my basic requirements. The only advantage of the stainless is easier upkeep but I am pretty OC about care, so a carbon is fine. I have both carbon and stainless razors and like them equally well.

For those in the know of Bokers, what are your recommendations of these three razors? Would any of these three be a better choice than the other two?

Choices, Choices, Choices. Wow, I can speak first hand about the Edelweiss, as mine shaves great. My vintage King Cutter is also great! Wait a minute, I never met a Boker I didn"t like. Best of luck making up your mind. Best Regards and Happy Shaving, wildhog
