Very nice. Just make sure you print it as "original" and don't let the pdf "scale to fit" the paper, or else your dimensions will be off. I checked mine wiht a digital calipers, and is right on.
I always measure from the cutting edge to the back of the spine. That is a non subjective measurement. If you measure to the middle of the spine, is it really the middle? I use a set of digital calipers and measure in mm's. I then use this chart to convert it to inch fractions.

What is the true definition of the blade? I think if you want the true way to measure the blade, you need a true definition of the blade. When the blade is defined, the method of measurement should naturally follow
