I shouldn't have but I bought a 7-day set of Joseph Rodgers & Sons straight razors. I paid just under $180 for them, can I at least tell my wife I made the deal of the day?

On another note the price is fantastic, enjoy them.
When these show up and the Norton 4000/8000 I ordered this morning I will have some explaining to do. I'll tell her to check my messages on where to send them upon my demise. ;)
That's assuming she doesn't just incinerate the lot in a fit of pique ... but you never know.

You can only die once however in this case probably more like the death of a thousand cuts protracted, over time.
Stones and razors? Well, you are just honing them for some poor hone-less guy here on the forum and as soon as they are honed, off they go! Now if the return address on the 7 day set is something like "Rodger's Razor Emporium", just get to the mail box first, otherwise you're toast. If she is like my wife she can't tell one razor from another once they are in the collection.
Congrats on a good score. Money comes and money goes. Those razors have been around longer than most people can hold on to a buck. I remember the look on CarrieM's face when we found a seven day set of Bokers in ivory in almost pristine condition. The look on her face was 'How are we going to find enough money to pay for them?" knowing full well it was a steal but more than we every paid for razor s at one stop. We wen't home with them and have forgot about the cuts we made to score them. CarrieM is GREAT!!

Depends on how well you hide the razors. But I guess she can throw shoes at you; death by stiletto perhaps? :)
Just a thanks to those who gave me a like on my message-sometimes a joke just gets worn out-let the man enjoy his score,and no more " ill watch them for you" comments,the joke is DEAD. You got a great deal ,now enjoy them.
