Ones to avoid. Didn't read that!!! To be fair, a few strokes on the hone and it felt good. Having said that, the first few shaves with this razor did put me off for 5yrs so, the Wiki is correct! I would say, buy one but get it honed straight away. It's affordable at the end of the day. But, I would not now buy another!
thomas turner isn't even the same game as the salter. the turner is top shelf razor from when straight razors were at their best, the salter is a razor shaped object that sometimes with a lot of effort can be made to shave poorly.
You are so right. The Turner is no where near honed to perfection but delivers a good shave. Compared to the Cyril!!!
