I use Alum Bloc on my fingers to help grip the razor better. I'm thinking to have a custom made with an unfinished or unpolished tang, or I may take my least expensive razor and experiment with a dremel. This would seem to be useful in holding the razor. Has anyone ever had a razor like this? I've never seen one....
Make sure your hands are dry.
Buy razors with Jimps, top and bottom.
I think maybe search Hammered Tang that might be what you are hinting at ????

Are a few brands that I know have them
I have a vintage razor that was customized by staking the sides of the tang lightly on both sides in ober lapping x patterns. It's an ERN, which I have a few of, nut I picked it up just because of how it was customized. It's nothing special and obscures the maker's stamp but is the first one I saw like this. I don't have access to my database right now but I will try to remember to post some pics tonight or tomorrow.
