I just got this sheffield, spanish point. and i want to determine the age. I am taking a wild guess and say 1880s-1900s. Please look at the pics and tell me what you think.

i really want to know the age for it, i plan to restore it and give it to my dad.
Does is say just Sheffield or does its say Sheffield England ?

Iam not sure but i think the razor companies had to put ENGLAND on the razors after 1890. Maybe somebody will chime in. But it looks like a full blade with motled horn scales,nice!

When restoring, use care with the molted horn scales. The black staining will diminish with aggressive rubbing/polishing.
