Case's Ace
Picked up this the other day, waiting on the post now, it probably was no bargain but i liked the look of it and case seems to have a pretty good reputation.
Will it be a good thing?!
VINTAGE STRAIGHT RAZOR W.R. CASE "CASE'S ACE" WITH HAMMERED & GUN TANG!! | eBay

I'd say you didn't exactly get a deal when it came to the price probably, but they are highly regarded straights, and will be excellent honed right.

Price may have been alittle high but that is a beautiful Razor. I have gotten razors from that seller as well and havent been disapointed yet by him. I own a few Case razors and everyone of them are great shavers. Enjoy.

A "good buy" is when the seller and the buyer are happy with the end result of the deal. As to Case razors, they are great shavers and made in the USA to boot! I have several and they never let me down. Best, wildhog

I would have gone there, if I had seen it :)
They are excellent shavers, and very capable of holding on to an extreme edge...

Nice work! A premium must be expected when buying one unmolested as that. You won't regret it!

I had a good look at it early on in the auction and thought i like that, it was on like $63 with 1 minute to go, i put in a max bid of 160 thinking it would go for about 100-120, i knew i'd be peeved if i missed it so 160 was the most i wanted to spend on it, hit bid with 30 seconds to go and it went straight to the sell price, so i guess it was meant to be!
As wildhog said above if buyer and seller are both happy with sale price...

Hey! That thing's got my name on it!

The more I hone and use American steel, particularly from the region that produced razors like Case, C-Mon, Cattaraugus, and almost too many to mention, the more I appreciate it. To me, it's like a little manufacturing miracle that so much great product came from what were really small towns. You didn't exactly steal that razor, but it will easily challenge the best European razors and should be something to treasure for generations to come.

I was in the bidding up to the $63 mark. It is a beautiful razor and I am glad that you won it. It should give you many years of wonderful shaves. I have a W. R. Case Red Imp 132 and Red Imp 133, both of them fine shavers.
Happy Shaving!
