I will try to post pictures later today. I can’t find any info online about the ‘1’. It is in fairly good condition, but it will need some polishing.
The seller asked €2 for it. I only had 1,6€ in coins and he said it was ok. I don’t think I paid too much...
If somebody could point me in a direction regarding age or more details about this Herder?

As I already wrote beforeThe #1 is possibly one of the oldest of Richard Abr. Herder's straight razor blades, produced 1880 to 1920s.
Yours is a 5/8 Spanish tip blade, probably machine ground near wedge with bakelite scales, so its more likely a 1920s.
I cleaned and honed the razor and was able to take a better picture
Thanks for the info. I like the fact that it has the '1' on it, it seems more special :)
