GB Buckingham and Sons razor stress test.

Betelgeux over at /r/wicked_edge decide to test the GB Buckingham and Sons "Damascus Steel Straight Razor" this is what he found

On every stress test the razor bent before it broke. Looks like it's best to stay away from anything at vintagestraightrazor.com

Yup , anything from them should be avoided like the plague. Here's my experience:

I think the general consensus is indeed that the Buckingham razors are not fit for shaving, but I also think you have to be careful with exclamations such as these. They sound an aweful lot like vendor bashing to me, and I thought that was a big no-no on this forum.

In my opinion, any problem with a vendor/manufacturer ought to be dealth with by private communication directly to the vendor/manufacturer.

If you knew more about them, and even their history on this site, you would not say that, trust me. At the time that was all they sold and their response was uh interesting.
Warning beginners against websites that flat out lies to their customers and sell crap is not vendor bashing.

Doesn't that same site. Sel Alex Jaques razor? i thought he made good stuff? Why woulld he associate with a bad vender?
