    Default Well, I finally bit...

and bought a second razor. I've been using a 5/8 Dovo purchased from Tony Miller, but when I saw an $8 spike point on ebay I decided to take it. I'm guessing it's a 4/8. The grind is slightly thicker than on the Dovo, and the scales seem to be in decent shape. There is some rust, but it's mainly on and around the spine, and almost none near the edge, so I think it'll clean up alright.

Of course, for $8, even if it turns out not to shave, it's no big loss. :-)

It should clean up OK and give decent shaves. Worth the price.

There's a little age on it that will probably stick around, but there's no reason why with a little work it shouldn't shave well. Nice catch.
