Anyone ever heard of this razor?

Yep, nice razors. I have one... 6\8 i believe.. Crappy scales, my scales are a muddy white with that same pattern. I love the shave though so it stays in the rotation.

I have quite a few of the 'A1 Silberstahl Garanti' & 'Silberstahl Garanti' stamped razors.

I don't know if they were 'generic' Solingen produced razors, but all mine have been excellent shavers :)

Yep, Garanti or Garantie made tons of razors (they often made razor for other companies too) and usually rather good ones.

Edited: "Garanti" means "warranted" in English.
