    Default Dovo Black Star

Alright, who's got one? I know some of you guys have to have them. I'm really curious about the black finish on the tang / spine. If you got one, can you post a picture? I see the ones on SRD and whatnot, but I'd like to see what they look like "at home".

I've got one, it was my first razor in fact!

They're great little shavers and look really nice. I dont have a pic right now but I can post one later once I get home and get my camera.

If you're thinking of getting one I'd say go for it, you wont be disappointed!

The black finish on the steel is pretty durable and doesnt seem to wear off. I've had mine a couple of years and its still in very good condition.

    Definitely good little razors!

I have one and it also is my first. I'll see if I can take a pic of it this weekend. I'm a completely new to straight razors. I've only had it a few weeks and can't comment on the durablilty of the finish.

    Hello, Kasperitis:

Yes, the Dovo "Black Star" is a lovely razor. I no longer have mine. What made the razor particularly attractive was the gold etching of the blade set against black shank and brown wood scales. The color combination worked. The razor was also a good shaver.

    Regards,

    Obie
