Has anyone tried this razor? Any comments on it's performance?
I am looking at this as my next purchase and would appreciate any feedback.

do you have a picture or a discription?
I'm sure its a great razor, some tech data is provided at classicshaving.com
I have one and it is very nice. Great Shaver. It is similar to the Dovo Berg. Lowe blade and takes a super edge. Tis in my permanent box next to the number 1 SRP TI razor.
Lynn
Thanks for the replies. It's not like I expected anyone on a shaving forum to talk me out of a purchase, but it's good to know it is an excellent razor all the same.
Aussie, if you haven't found it on the Classic Shaving site already, here's a link to the product description. LINK

I was wondering about this, also.
And, although it may be apples to oranges, how does the founders razor compare to the SRP member TI also at Classicshaving ?
Thanks
They are both very nice shavers.
Lynn
Lynn,
In your first response you mentioned this razor was in your permanent box; I am just curious, and I hope you don't mind me asking, what other razors you have judged to be good enough to be placed in your permanent rotation?
Regards,
Alex
I have Bokers and Henckels and Sheffields and Pumas and Maestro's and several others in there.
Have fun.
Lynn
Thanks for being somewhat circumspect Lynn. I don't think we could handle another run-up of prices on e-bay of any razor you suggest as being a great shaver . The Wonderedge incident is ongoing  .Quote:

Lynn, you forgot Rockwell-Solingens :w
Just found a great deal on two rockwell solingens on ebay. Put in a bid on them, so hopefully I'm lucky and have them in my rotation soon. Thanks for the tip! :y
Oh yeah, you were joking? So was I. I hope nobody did in fact go out and bid on rockwells. :td
Lol Alf.. I hope you didn't bid on that batch of 60 as I need a new set of novelty butter-knives. I just hope they aren't softer than what they're supposed to be spreading
I've received some Rockwell's to hone and my advise remains the same regarding them. They would definitely make the box.......that is the box underneath the kitchen sink, which gets emptied into a bigger box which gets picked up every Thursday by BFI.
";"
Have fun.
Lynn
