What a great pass down from your Father. Those are both very nice razors and the Boker looks to be in great
conditon. Welcome to SRP and kindly let us know how your relationship with the two razors develops.

Wow great find. good luck whit those great razors and use then in good held.
Congratulations on your fine razors, especially the Boker, and welcome to SRP! As Manah kindly informed you (and us) your razor has a nice genuine ivory tang, which makes it a premium razor, besides being a quality Boker. I have two of the same model myself, and they shave beautifully. Professional honing is recommmended. A note, the "B" in a wreath etched blade, ivory tang, and beaded edge celluloid scales razors were also made for a number of barber supply companies by Boker, and marked with their names and logos, not with the Boker tree. They are identical to yours except for the Tree and Boker tang markings.
I've tried to prove, that "Girmany" on the Boker's razors isn't a typo.
Well-known company - Griffon Cutlery Works and their well-known razors - Carbo-Magnetic, Griffon XX, 60.
I've seen many such razors. To remind you:

The stamps on the other side:

And at last I found the Carbo-Magnetic razor with this stamp:

Again "Girmany".:)
Let's think.
Both companies(Griffon Cutlery Works and H.Boker & Co.) had the manufacturing in America and in Germany.
May be, stamps "Germany" and "Girmany" mean, where the razor was made ... America or Germany
Now, I have only this idea.
hey there,
welcome to SRP. It is such a great community here and everyone is usually more than helpfull! I have enjoyed being a part of SRP for a while now and hope you will too. It is so nice to see people's family razors passed down. I wish I had one from my father or grandpa. Enjoy your stay!
