Naw,will let her rest in peace,Is not the rig,has nothing to do with it,all my other blades are just fine.
Over the years anything could have happend to the blade,A great lesson as to just how friable razor edges are.

Hey, I take your word it's not the grease, but just for my enlightenment, "what is rig grease"?
Curious,
Howard
Rig grease was developed by the military years ago as a rust preventitive for everything but mostly firearms.
I hunt ducks in local salt ponds, nothing protects shotguns better than rig, will never stop using it.
I would recommend you try using Rennaisance Wax.
Professional grade treatment used by curators around the world, developed by the National British Museum.
Clinically tested for preserving precious metals, woods, plastics etc etc.
I wouldn´t compare a gun barrel to a precision ground razor for many reasons.......also I dont hunt ducks with my razors :D
[QUOTE=pixelfixed;907577]Did the same with carbon tet, killed one of my buddies from long term exposure to that crap.
Shane, your missing one of lifes most manly endevores, hunting ducks with straight razors is better than sex:)[/QUOTE
Well..............should I feel sorry for your sex life?
:P
I'm thinking that after sitting unused for over seventy years, it finally died of a broken heart.
