Luckily for me I married and enabler. And her ebay rating is better than mine.
Haha, I know what you mean. I caught the bug a few years back, I was at the estate sale of a barber from the turn of the century, he had a collection of about 100 OLD razors, 7/8s, 8/8s, Wade & Butchers, ivory scales, all the best names, all in almost mint condition... I paid the woman less than $100 for the whole box and I made THOUSANDS. That really caught my attention!
I admit I can be a bit compulsive. Starting straight razor shaving again after 45 years and at 70 made up my mind I wanted to try every well know manufacturer's razors. I bought, tried and sold. Luckily I can now afford to do this with kids gone, and most bills paid off. I have one RAD I can't kick. The vintage razors. Love US and Sheffield razors. On a buying spree now for some oldies. I am over my phase of Mastro Livi's collecting 5. Might have to go back to work on that one. When my wife ask's what I am doing in the bathroom for an hour and I should eat more fruits and vegetables or see a doctor, I say I am trying to get a really close shave to look good for her.
