Carl Schlieper ID help please

I'm planning on starting to shave with a straight razor when I get home from my current stint working in Asia, however, I was in a dusty old market the other day and came across an old box of about 10 Carl Schlieper straight razors randomly sitting in a bunch of other junk. I bought one for a decent price, and am wondering if I should go back and buy the whole box. They are unused, the blades still with oil and wrapped in brown wax paper. I couldnt find any of the same ones on here or anywhere else, the commercial carl schlieper box they were all sitting in looked pretty old, the blades look to be half hollow ground. the scales are plastic. the numbers on the actual blade are hard to read (sorry, the pics are from my computer), but it says 1901/130. the number on the plastic case is 130-4/8". Sorry if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about, because I don't! Just thought I may have spotted a deal...so is it worth buying the whole box? are these of good quality? How much is a good price to pay for one of these? I don't know where I would sell all these, are they in demand at all? Thanks for the help...

I don't know of the maker and the size is not one of the more popular but who knows, maybe they're going to be 2014's Filharmonicas. Only you can judge really. Not much help, sorry.

Carl Schlieper is a very well known Solingen Cutlery house. Their pocket knives are some of the best on the planet.

4/8 aren't the most desirable size these days but I guarantee there is nothing wrong with the razors.

Yes. Carl Schlieper is well known Solingen cutlery company. It's in business since 1898. The company gained fame in about 1950's with its "Eye Brand".
Since 1993(if I remember well), the owner of the company is Friedrich Olbertz GmbH & Co. KG, Junkerstrasse 36, 42699 Solingen.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Looks like a great razor you've got there, although 4/8 sizes are just a little tougher to strop and hone. Of course, it's all tough in the beginning, so if you get it down with this little guy, bigger razors (within reason) will probably seem like a walk in the park.

Revisor has a couple for sale, hope this helps.

It's certainly worth buying one, but buying more is probably not a good idea for you. For you it'll be a gamble - you put in a bunch of money and hope to make a profit reselling them, except that you have no expertise whatsoever in the matter. It's very likely that you can make more money by doing something you're already good at.
But, those are nice high quality razors and if they haven't been used I'm 99.9% sure that you can just strop it and have at it. Every vintage factory edge has been very good.
