At $23.00, I am not sure I am too worried. It's a 4/8 and that's "my size." Excited to receive it - don't have asilver steel razor, so it should be fun.

Looks like faux frameback. Joseph Elliot is a very good name. Should serve you good for many years.

Well it came in today - it was a nice eBay surprise in that it indeed is a 4/8, and actually is in as good if not better shape than the seller stated. :)
It's all honed up and ready to go - I'll take some photos and report back after its first shave. Thanks for all the info gents.
As much as you like the little ones, are you aware that you can get a NOS Filarmonica 4/8 or 3/8 way cheaper than the big ones that are currently over-inflated? They're still the same razor, just smaller than most guys want, and they're supposed to be great. Just an FYI - I have no Fillies for sale, LOL.

This little $23.00 blade is the smoothest blade I have ever had after honing it just once! If silver steel is this smooth - I have a new focus! Wow!! Just wow. I found that one : ).
Ok - that's enough lol -> if you ever see one around though, buy it! Here it is as it was today before the shave. Stropped on Roo, removing a nice AoS sandalwood uber lather.

Reminds me of my Oak Wing shave this morning following Glen's "drop 2 and go" honing touch-up suggestion. That edge was amazingly sharp and smooth! :D
