I came across a W.R. Case Razor with literature dating 1999. The box says Solingen-made. Tang says stainless and W.R. Case, but that's it. I would guess Dovo-made. The collars look Dovo as well.
Anyone Know?

I believe it was made by parker.
I thought about that. Seems Parker owned Case until about 1990. The razor is not dated, but the literature with it says 1999.
Have had a couple from the late 90s,I think Parker started up again for a short time, maybe ck some of the case Knife collector sites.
Were they good razors? It looks likely!
Case had them made after the Zippo purchase in 1993. Parker owned and tried to ruin Case from 1988-1991. The razors came in Case Boxes, The one I am looking at right now is Chestnut Bone and is item 20979, RAZ 415715SS. The box has the standard Case paper work and invit(2001) to join Case collectors club. It has taken some time for Case to try to recover from the Parker years. I think retail was about $145.00 or so.
Yes, that would be like this. I wonder who they had to make them? Attachment 103151
From the talk(2008) with Mr. Stremmel, the managing director of DOVO:
"CASE
DOVO did make and will make razors for CASE USA, these are labeled as Case razors and are
not allowed to be sold from Solingen but will always completely be distributed by Case, USA".
Thank you, manah! I saw you were browsing this thread and that an answer was forthcoming! So my hunch was correct!
That same razor, inner and outer box and papers was still being made into the early 2000s,I had one in jigged bone that retailed at 185.00, one in real MOP(one pce scales) at 300.00.
Nice razors, but the fit and finish was sub-par at that price point even by todays standards,IMO.
