Is that Chinese????
I saw that one go by. Very unusual!! Congrats on picking it up.
No. That is gibberish. I have two of them. One has pressed horn scales with the same etch on the blade and "The Chinese Razor" on the scales. The other has the same etch and the back side of the blade has "Heathen Chinee" etched in the belly. That was a popular poem back then. I don't read Chinese but I've tattooed enough of it to know when it is phony. They both shave great BTW, when you get it up to speed you'll like it.

It always amuses me how they got away with scribbling any old hieroglyphs on these razors and calling them 'Chinese' - If they really were made for the Chinese immigrant market then you'd think they would use actual characters! None-the-less, cool razor ;)
It say: "Wullie, Me show you good time" That what it say!
Have a good time with it, Wullie! Pack a lunch! ;)
We've had a few threads on this razor in the past. Consensus is gibberish as Jimmy noted above. Here are two threads I started on the topic: http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...n-request.html and http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...cher-horn.html
What if it's some unknow dead language.
Their surely many native cultures that
where killed off.
All over the world.
Been there. Here's a link to a language site I asked for assistance from: Freelang’s blog » Blog Archive » Another unknown language
The fact that it's gibberish, and given the age of the razor, makes it all the more special. Nice snag, BTW. I bet that will clean up real nice and give years of excellent shaves. You may, however, become know for speaking a lot of gibberish on the days you shave with this razor. The "me show you good time" message of this razor is a dangerous lure.
