Razor identification "DADO" made in Solingen, Germany, for Italian Market????

Hi everyone, my handle is Hilltopper and I live in Austin, Texas. I have two straight-razors that belonged to my dad that I think I will sharpen and try to shave with.

These razors appear to be some off-brand because Googling has yielded no results. The razors are named "DABO" and they are made in Solingen, Germany. Also, they have this inscription on the blade"Per tutte le barbe," which is Italian and means "For all beards."

Does anyone know of this brand? It could be my dad bought them in Italy while in the Navy or at the commissary.

I'm clueless about the origin but that's a great looking blade. Boxes are sweet to.

Thats are 2 nice looking razors, you dad did a good thing to buy them.

Don't know anything about them, but they look like keepers to me.

How long has your father had these in his posession? Looks like there is a South Korean metal supplier in South Korea but according to their records have only been around since 1988. Could just be a coincidence but I suppose the steel could have been sourced from them and then manufactured in Solingen?

Dabo is also a small municipality in Germany with just under 3000 inhabitants.

Can we get some more pictures of the markings on the tang???

They have been around for quite a long time - there is a foreign-language website somewhere (forget the name) where the guy posted that his grandfather bought two of them when he was a barber in Corsica. Can't find any info other than that on them, though.

I'm not sure how long he had them but my mom said he had them in 1954 when they we getting married. I remember them in the 1960's when I was a kid. He could have bought them in the the 1940's as far as I know. He was in WWII and he shaved with a straight razor during most of his youth I guess.
