Union razor Cutlery Georgia, Established in 1902 as the Union Razor Company in Union City, Georgia. Changed the company name to Union Cutlery in 1909 and moved to Olean, New York in 1910. The name was changed to Ka-Bar Cutlery in 1952 based on the glowing reputation of their Ka-Bar army issue WWII knives.
AHA! There lies the connection! Good Work, Martin! :chapeau

Here's something you don't see every day! A nice razor and hone from Ariel Cutlery of Marionette, Wisconsin.
Frederick Henry Jaeger Sr. started this company in Duluth, Minnesota in 1911 (hence the Duluth Motor Bridge logo) at the ripe old age of 22. The Bridge is worth a look as well. A great feat for the time!
He moved ACM to Marionette in 1913. Lasted a good long time, too! Most everything to be learned in here:
