It looks exactly like where I work now.... Did you get these off my facebook? I am the guy withe the dour face in the middle... We had one guy that smiled, but we had him photo shopped out and tar and feathered him... We wouldn't stand for smiling back in the day..

A while back I was running a project to set up a web-based database of things related to the industrial heritage of a town not far from here. I absolutely loved the photos that the museum had kicking around in its archives. They give such a great insight into the conditions and nature of work as well as (since it is Movember) some *fantastic* moustaches. :)
