    Default Identifying Grinds

I was wondering if anyone had any guidelines for identifying a grind on a razor.

Obviously a wedge is pretty much a triangle (maybe with a very slight hollow?)

But what about full hollow, 1/2 hollow, 1/4 hollow? Does anyone have any diagrams or illustrations that might help me to understand grinds?

    Thanks!

    Curtis

    Thanks, Ilija!

That's pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Hey Ilija and guys, take a look at our own information contained in this forum. That same information has been available here forever. We have links and downloads that give you historical information, vendors, razorcentral and much much more.

Look around beyond the forum and you'll be amazed at how much you can learn.

    Have fun.

Thanks, Jim! You just educated the heck out of me! I don't think I'd like to try sharpening a wedge...

To anyone interested, the link in post 2 does not work anymore so I even tried: http://www.en.nassrasur.com, but that does't even come up.
