Well, I went through a bunch of local antique stores today looking for a birthday gift for the gf, as well as for my first straight razor. I hit 11 stores in total (it's nowhere near as many as it sounds, most stores where right next to each other), and struck out pretty much everywhere. But that 11th store had almost two dozen razors scattered about, all in at least acceptable condition. Long story short my first straight razor became two- an old Wostenholm pipe razor and a nearly mint Mozart Special 630.
The reason I posted this here, and not in the Show and Tell section (and mods, if I erred in my judgement on this, please move) is because I am unable to find anything on the MS 630. I've found a few threads here on the 614, which told me about the maker (Steinbruck and Drucks), but I haven't seen anything specific to this model. I was hoping that someone here might be able to enlighten me as to its history, and, ideally, how well it shaves.

It measures about 11/16, and appears to be nearly brand new. Thanks!
