Help with W. Greaves & Son / Henry Clay Razor
Hi Folks,
I'm brand new to this forum.. I've been a collector of razors and blades since childhood, but never learned much about what I have. I'm finally inspired to learn some, and starting with this one.. "Manufactured by W. Greaves & Son Sheaf Works", with an etching on the blade that reads "Henry Clay 1844". So far, I know that Greaves was around in the mid 1800's, and I think they did an inaugural set of razors in 1832, but I haven't been able to find anything about the 1844 edition, and I'm curious if anyone here has more info on this piece..?
ANy help much appreciated!
