Welcome to SRP, The brand Malaingre- Staurenghi was founded around 1850 in Nogent France, both names meaning Malaingre and Staurenghi show up prior to this consolidation in directory as early as 1812.
The company received many honorable mentions and medals in different exposition around that time frame.

In 1870 the company own 2 steam engines, 2 water wheels, 8 forge and employed 37 workers.

In 1889 the company changed name, that said your razor is in that time span of 40 years.

Thanks guys, that's just what I've been looking for. Didn't realise it was so old.

the horn scales needed a soak in oil and some light rust on the tang
