Personna "shavette"
I don't use shavettes much, but I've been fascinated by how cheaply they can be obtained, and so I have a couple of diferent examples that I use for quick touchups of spots I missed with my straight.
The latest one I got, I stumbled on by accident. It's a Personna hair shaper. $13, free shipping, comes with five blades! Amazon.com: Personna Classic Hair Shaper: Beauty Slide off the hair thinner cover, and there's a razor hiding there. Its simple, but amazingly well made.
It's pretty light, but I think I may get used to it and use it for travel. It doesn't lock, doesn't have a molded handle, the blade isn't very deep--less than a pocket knife--and is a hair less than 2-1/4" long. I wonder how the TSA would feel about that?
It looks almost stroppable--I wonder if that would extend the life of the blades. . .

I don't see why you couldn't strop it. Same principle as palm stropping DE blades, which works to eke out a couple more comfortable shaves.

That razor is made for texturizing the hair on your head, I don't know how comfortable of a shave you'll be able get from it. But, try it out and let us know. Good luck.

Basically, it's the same type of long blade that other shavettes use, like the Feather, Dovo, etc., and appears to be a direct rip from Kai's model, which also comes with the hair comb accessory. It's not comfy at all, but man, it sure cuts! Think of it as an especially sharp, twitchy straight. :-) But it doesn't weigh hardly anything, so the weight is appropriate to the pressure needed, which is basically none.
