I have a Gottlieb Hammesfahr that I found in a local antiques store and it's now one of my favorites. I believe the Pyramide branding means it's a 20th Century blade though pre-1950.
Yes, the pyramid came along later. Gottlieb and Hammesfahr started very early, in the 1700's it seems. Here is an example of their work in the 1800's. Obviously reground back when!
