And then I found thes 1/2 scale razors A Van Camps , a PS& Co and a Morley.

Next up I got a Landers Frary & Clark, a Wilbert Reliable and a Rogers cutlery.
Then I came across a Kain & Abel with an abalone and silver inlay on the scales, a Union made Finger lakes cutlery and a Union Cutlery Gold Coin.
Then I came across this Electric Cutlery in the original leather pouch which the snaps close in the center covering the gold name,but when opened the blade can be removed from either end. I also picked up a Curley Ideal safety razor. I have a Geneva with the notches for the blade guard but haven't found a guard. This one has the original box.
There were also these D. Peres, a Kinfolk covered tang and a Puma 4/8 Frieseur Fregund #1 I had to take.
This Case with the covered tang in MOP just said "Take me home" so I did.
And the piece that is still giving me goosebumps is this W&B with brass lined MOP scales. The colors it gives off just can't be caught in photos here.

Quality yes, but this isn't the near the quantity I've picked up at one time ( 40). You wouldn't believe some of the pieces I've found.
But this is a nice addition to my collection I must say.
I have not been in Bham in a long while. Looks like I stayed away too long!
Just long enough! I pretty much picked it clean. I had to drive 35 minutes to score these! Woe is me.
But from what I've found around this area I think guys were really into shaving. DEs Straights etc. you should see my collection and how its grown.
Wowi I would feel lucky just to be able to ogle over thet lot.

Yea, I would say you are in the right area where people did/do appreciate and know fine steel when they see it. That is a tremendous haul for one outing, congrats. The green scales on the 7 day set really are nice. The W&B what a gorgeous straight.

Some of these I may try. My collection is around 300 ( and around 150 DEs) or so which leaves me plenty to play with and not have to touch the rarer pieces.

Honestly,, didn't come close to spending very much all things considered.
And it's true these are merely "tools" and can be used. I may at some time pick one up and have a go with it. But like tools, or books you have many sitting around and aren't used regularly but when the time is right you grab one and off you go.
At least you are a Gentleman and made me feel better, thank you. My hunt continues for a razor with nice green scales(Im a green freak) and that 7 day set had my mouth watering, if only for the scales, ok ok for all of it.
