I could not find MAAS in the Netherlands, so I went with HG. Cheap and effective, I reckon you should be able to find it in Belgium too. There's Autosol too, comes highly recommended. Keep an eye on the etch, mine faded somewhat after quite some polishing. You could stick some tape on it to prevent that.
As for honing, I think you have two options. Either send it out to be honed, or read a lot about hones and end up buying a 1K bevel setter, without which you could spend literally hours trying to get a proper bevel, and a 4K/8K Norton or equivalent for sharpening and finishing. If you choose for buying hones, be willing to spend quite some money on those!
