cant wait I could clean the Boker up more but a little pitting looks good on a razor older than the person using it.
will follow up on the Frame Back most likely tomorrow but cool thing is it says
"England Barber" on the blade.

Boker looks great,may be a challange to hone tho,what are the scales? jigged horn.
Not sure what the scales are not Bakelite or celluloid wood? Horn? But they did soak up some neetsfoot so I would assume they are something natural. Just with sanding from 220 to 2k the Boker is cutting arm hair but still far from shave ready.
Ok fingers are cut up and raw but having fun

You are not wrong, that part of the edge has a small frown but it will come out when I get around to setting the bevel. Best way is black marker on the edge and spine to see how she runs across the stones. I believe that who ever used her didn't know how to hone well.
Very nice work on the Frameback Pradat- Brun. The first registration trademark for the Pradat- Brun firm came in 1904, with the name Pradat-Brun and the logo of a shaving brush (blaireau). Mr Pradat was involved in others cutlery association before this registration.

So any how Prada peening was interesting seeing used old horn for spacer and did my first sleeve job for the pivot seeing my rods on hand are too narrow closes nice tight and will be up for sale as soon as I can hone her.
They both turned out really nice, great work Enjoy!
thank you Martin, was losing desire for the Pradat was real "FUGLY" as you can see when I got her. Boker shaves real nice this one will have to wait and see I know a "real shave ready" should fetch another 10-15.Quote:
