    Default Latest Robert Williams

Just wanted to share my latest Robert Williams custom, at a bit over 10/8 this thing is a PIG! I asked Robert to give me something cleaver-ish and rustic and I think he nailed it. The razor handles well (if you use both hands ) but my next will be a 6/8 hollow. Robert, have ya got that grinder yet?

I spent 3 days, off and on honing this razor and found the sweet spot on my second attempt. This razor is a pig and was a bi*ch to hone, the steel is unbelievably hard but it is now an awesome shaver. Wish I could get it to fit in my cigar box.

    Beautiful.

Btw, is that a yellow Belgian that the razor is lying on?
How big is it? Looks 2.5 or 3 inch wide from the picture.
I guess an amazing razor deserves an amazing stone.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback, I'm quite happy with it now it's off the stones.

    Bruno, yes it's a 3x8 natural stone.

If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost?
I paid 65 euros for my 1.5x7 yellow, and I know that the price goes up very fast with increasing width.
