I saw one at a Antique shop this last weekend for 15 bucks and thought the scales look cool also the one in the shop the blade is in a lot better shape than the Ebay one.

You may want to checkout this thread about c-mon razors. Overall they are a respectable razor, but that particular one looks as though it has abit of frown to it. Nothing that probably couldn't be honed out. It only looks like it has a frown in the first pictures though.

Thanks for the link. I think I will probably go by the Antique shop again tomorrow and take one more look at it and if the blade is in as good a shape as I remember will probably go ahead and pull the trigger on it.

If it's in decent condition, $15 should be a steal.

If you buy that one at the antique store and decide it's not for you I'll be glad to take it off your hands. :w

Went and looked at it today and I was wrong the razor next to it was 15 bucks they want 35 for the Monkhouse. At 15 I was ready to jump on it at 35 I have to think about it some more. The good thing is that I finaly sold enough on Ebay to be able to pull the trigger on this one.

I've been drooling over John's razors for awhile especially his Friodurs.
