Do you think it is remotely possible if a bunch of us here were to collectively place a huge order to the Mastro that he would give a nice discount??? Maybe 40% or 50% off. You think. Dreams are always fun to dilly dally about.

Guess I must have missed it. Sorry I did. Makes me want to cry. I seem to miss most good things in life. Also guess I am missing the thrust of "...you can see the results of the group in recent past messages of this thread." I don't keep up with every post made, obviously to my misfortune. Well, anyway, I guess I will keep moaning and groaning. I see these things and this weird ach just flushes through my body.
gary haywood, that is a beautiful razor!
Yes I,m very happy with the razor, I,m sure I will add some more to my collection, hopefully there will be a special edition for 2017.
Thanks Gary
Stunning razor Gary!
No need to apologize, not for me. I did not take any offense at all. Being Italian, I do appreciate your interest and affection for Mastro Livi razors, something I am proud of, also for the fact Mastro Livi is a friend of mine. No need to apologize, not for me. Thank you.
Update: it seems the message to which I was replying with the above answer has been deleted? :hmmm:
I have heard a rumor that the Maestro has turned production over to his son and just signs the razors now. True or false?
Mastro Livi razors offer a diverse selection from the Grifetto to the customs. I own 5, 2 of which I have given to my son-in-law who is Italian. My next razor will be a Grifetto. I am really impressed with what you get for the price. The Mastro Livi club razor is really special, but so are my 2 customs. At some point you have to say maybe simple is just as good, just not as pretty. That being said, I can't wait for the next Mastro Livi Club razor.
False. Absolutely false. As I spend quite a lot of time with Mastro Livi, I can tell for sure, more than sure, he personally makes every single straight razor, strop, brush, scissors, bowls and the rest. Mastro Livi's son is mainly involved in knife production and honing. Knife making is an important part of Coltellerie Livi and it is Mastro Livi's son to mostly take care of this part.
