I really cannot look away from those scales, probably the most gorgeous set I have ever seen!

Thank you for the offer, but I am afraid I cannot help you on this. When I went to Mastro Livi's shop all I knew I wanted olive tree wood for my scales. When the Mastro showed me this indigo Buckeye Burl, I had to change my mind, like to say, love at first sight! :)

I read all of your comments and I am very glad to see all the deep appreciation you expressed about my Mastro Livi razor and the work of Mastro Livi as well. I too am elated about my razor and I understand what I have is an unique masterpice of talent, art, technique and craftmaship. I consider this a privilege.
Later this morning I will shave with this razor and I will certainly post my comments and remark about it. I am sure it will be just wonderful.

This is the "certificate of origin" stating the authenticity of a Mastro Livi razor. Every straight razor made by Mastro Livi comes with a certificate like this. Hand signed by Mastro Livi, of course (bottom right).

You seem to really like that razor:) Is very Nice,P160 was one of the best soaps ever,I have one Kilo left :(
