Default My New Razor Acquisitions, WM. M. Lowe Des Moines IA. M.I. Germany Ell-Bee

Hi guys, just thought I'd share some pics of my newer razors I've acquired.
first is a WM. M. Lowe Des Moines IA. M.I. Germany Razor named Ell-Bee, I've never heard of these razors but it looked nice and I got it for pretty cheap. Can anybody tell me about this maker?

Nice looking razor with great scales, the markings stands for The William Lowe Barber Supply Company of Des Moines Iowa, the name comes up on a few directories around the turn of the century, Made In Germany probably a Solingen razor, unfortunately didnt find any information about the Ell-Bee trademark.

Saitou, it has an interesting point, kinda cool looking. It appears to start square and end rounded. It could be a repair but it still looks neat, I like the scales too!!

I have a razor named the "Ver-I-Best" that was made for Sunbury B.S. Co in Sunbury, PA that has the M.i. Germany mark also. Same sort of markings and font, maybe the same manufacturer doing barber supply? Here are pics, I hope it helps track down info.

Hey WhiskerHarvest, The logo on that one reminds me of Engels, but I could be way off.

Nice bolsters. Nice find. Probably Sunbury Barber Supply Co. just up the road from me. Sunbury is near Williamsport famous for the Little League Baseball World Series. Also a famous 1000 yard rifle range there.

Shhh.. Lets keep that between us. I am more curious in tracking down the manufacturer(s) responsible for the barber supply. My intiuituon points me in the Engels direction but I was hoping for more concrete evidence as these xx b.s.co razors are far less $ than the name brands if you catch my drift.
