Completed my first successful honing

Completed my first successful honing the other day on this Ontario Cutlery razor I picked up last month.
It's a good shaver and I need to refine it just a bit more so that it shaves even better.
I used the Norton 4/8k stones on it and am fairly pleased for a first attempt.
Any ideas as to how old this razor may be?

It is an amazing feeling when you sharpen it and it actually works well!

Congrats on the honing, that razor was probably made around 1915-1925, keep up the good work!

I hate to say something like: One Robin a Spring does not make. Or something... I think that you'll find each razor that you do different. Some you'll just won't be able to do anything with and some will only need a little paste.
It's a great feeling when a plan comes together!
