I'm back! New 7 day set! a little taste of razor porn ;p

Hey yall! I've been inactive for about a year now, I graduated with my undergraduate degree and finished my first year of law school. My life is consumed with school so I can't be on the forum during the year or my grades suffer. :( anywho! For getting awesome grades this year my parents got me an awesome 7 day set! During the year I've had to sell a bulk of my razors to finance my books and other living expenses. I was down to just 5 razors by the end of may. :( So I was surprised to see these razors come in the mail! They are branded "Stacey 4 Newgate St" and are about 6/8 with an Irish point. They have bone scales and lead wedges. I honed them all and they shave great! I think they are either Sheffield or Swedish steel. They are all flawless but one (I'll get into that later) if any of yall know anything about the origin and history about these let me know!

Thanks yall! I love the set! I did a little research and an article said that the razors might be Swedish steel that was sold in new york but thats all I could find. :( I think they can be from the 1890s to the 1920s

The 1875 directory records the name as STACEY, thereafter it is STACY. Various Newgate street addresses listed. Stacy London Limited 1915-1935.


Sheffield made, but probably from Swedish steel like many at that time. Like the picture below showing Sheffield.

I wonder if my razors are earlier than those. Those are nice! I think those are ivory scales, mine are bone.. wish they were ivory though ;)

I have suffered most any case of RAD there is over the years.
The only one I have steared clear of is the 7-day sets.
This one does contribute to the itch though, I really have to say...
Sweet looking razors your parents gave, must feel veeery special to you:)
